Lost in Shanghai
We wanted to visit the French concession and the Saint Nicholas Church
But I forgot to bring the map out.
and the taxi driver were clueless about the place.
We ended up in huaihai road
Wanted to visit a protestant church there.
but was chased out..
can you imagine?
We are chased out by the caretaker of the Church?
Maybe he wasnt a believer.
Hence ,we decided to camwhore around the area.
Its another European distinct.

We decided to cab to the famous Saint Nicholas Church..
We were once again fooled by the Taxi driver.
He brought us to Xu Jia Hui .

Xujiahui literally means "Xu's junction" - or, more precisely, "property of Xu family at the junction of two rivers" in Mandarin .
The "Xu family" actually refers to the family of Xu Guang Qi (1562-1633),
China's most notable Catholic convert.
Most of what is now present day Xujiahui was once the ancestral home of Xu Guangqi and his family.
Baptized by famed Italian Jesuit,Matteo Ricci,Xu Guang Qi and his descendants donated large plots of land to the Catholic Church, including the site of the St. Ignatius Cathedral .
Thanks to the taxi driver 's mistake ,we found St. Ignatius Cathedral .
The cathedral was featured in the opening scenes of Steven Spielberg's 1987 film
Empire of the Sun.
The cathedral is attended by over 2000 people every Sunday

I thought shaun 's spine is going to break.
We decided to take the underground tunnel that link the two distict
Pudong and Puxi.
Followed by a trip to Shanghai underwater world.
It was a waste of time and money,as 50% of the underwater world creature were dead and fossilized.
We saw the Oriential pearl tower again..
