and now its the Game Keeper's Thumb.
No wonder people will call me Chao Keng Kai
Who cares what they say!
My thumb is more important.
My wish is granted,Weekend prolonged!

Gamekeeper's thumb (also known as skier's thumb or UCL tear) is a type of injury to the ulnar collateral ligament (UCL) of the thumb .

The ulnar collateral ligament of the thumb runs along the ulnar side of the metacarpo-phalangeal joint of the thumb. Injuries to it cause instability and loss of function of the thumb. Acutely this injury is known as the Skier's thumb or if the result of chronic injury .

Symptoms of gamekeeper's thumb are instability of the MCP joint of the thumb, accompanied by pain and weakness of the pinch grasp.

Made an effort to blog today because I don't want to flood my blog with only my complains of my army life.

Instead of staying at home,feeling the pre-book in blues.

I finally managed to do something different today.

I went to my Uncle's dance ballroom party.

Felt so inspired to see dancers groove their moves.

After that,I went to watch Toy Story 3 with Joel.

Pixar movies never fails to cheer me up.

The storyline is simple,down to earth and touches the viewers with its sincerity.

Finding Memo,Up,A Bug's life and Monster are part of my childhood memories.

I am already 21 ,yet I still can relate to the movie's plot.

I guess I will find time to catch up with the other Pixar movie that I missed.

Had lotsa fun playing vintage game such as Virtual Wars and the latest Tank Tank Tank in the arcade today..

I don't feel like sleeping now coz I wanna prolong my Sunday..

Just when I thought life is becoming mundane and boring.

I was taken aback by surprises such as 12km route march ,Ippt ,10km run and lame martial training.

Thank GOD for the rain,

it causes delays and cancellation to their inhumane plan .

I seriously pray that it will rain everyday in bedok camp.

WFFI-WAIT FOR FURTHER INSTRUCTION is my favourite acronym.

It literally means ADMIN TIME!

when I can sleep and watched dramas from my MP5.

Managed to finished entire season of GG and Vampire dairies.

GLEE and Beyond the Realm of conscience will be next.

NDP rehearsal caused my precious weekends to be Burned.

Totally disrupt my weekend plans.

Okie la, at least they return us a Off day on Monday.

Its a give and take system....

I got news that I will be going to Taiwan for my RECCE Course.

It will be around 2nd week of SEPT.

which means I will be walking 60km ,

taking jungle survival course and prison of war training there .

Not sure whether Its a good news...

I am only looking forward to the R and R there.

Life will get better!

Initially,I wanted to blog another negative post about my army life.
But I decided not to bore my readers with my complains .
I learnt from Pst Phil that Happiness is to be content with what you have in life.
Ever since I enlist ,I have been comparing my NS life with my fellow friends.

This gotta stop or elseI will remain miserable for the remaining 1 year of my army life.

So instead of comparing which unit have the most off days,welfare,least guard duty and outfield.

I should to start to appreciate my unit life.

Here are the reasons why

-Despite my absence in most of my training,I am still allowed to continue my guards conversion course and participate in the upcoming Recce course.
-Majority of my platoon mates were handpicked by HQ to be Guards Recce Trooper,unlike me,I was randomly picked by the system to be the "EYES of the battalion"

-Though we were always deployed to go outfield or chosen to do SAI KANG ,we also have alot of admin time for us to slack in bunk.

HAHA..I am just trying to brainwash myself to appreciate army life.

I believe with lesser guard duty and SAI KANG I will be able to accustom myself to this life with pride.

Its finally over!!!!!

I have gotten my Class 3 Military License and my Jeep course ends today!!!!

I Don't have to face Mr Pig head anymore.

Hopefully He will change his STYLE of teaching and his future student will not suffer under his hands.

Gotta say goodbye to Faris ,Syahid and Christopher.

We have gone through hell together.

Endless insults and humiliation from our dick head instructors,

Late night training and Parking Remedial training.

I remember how we use to countdown to the end of the course

,how we annoy each other with endless questions about driving technique

,how we compare our individual horrible treatment from the dick heads

and laughing our heads off the silly things we said.

I wouldn't survive the course without them too.

I guess as we go back to our individual unit ,we will not be contacting each other anymore.

In life ,we will tend to have this 'kind of short but awesome friendship".

I called it "Momentum Friendship".

Whenever we go to camps ,tours,courses or working in a temp Job.

We will meet such friends that will have fun and go through shit with us.

but these friendship only last for while.

As we say our goodbye and go back to our individual lifestyle

We will eventually lost contact.

and what we left will be the memories that remind us of the experience we went through

together.

I finally pass the TP test in my 1st attempt!

This means I will be getting my military Jeep license soon

and there will not be anymore HELL lessons with my Driving instructor.

I wanna thank my Mum,Evonnie ,Ho and Richie for encouraging me and having to deal with a dejected brother for the past 1 month .

I wanna thank Fen for her prayers and countless encouragement .

and Lincoln and Joel for lending me their ears to share my woes.

I never knew learning to drive would be such a challenge.

During the past 1 month ,I struggled with thoughts of giving up and going out of course.

But this time I dont want to give up like I always do .

Determination and commitment really helps me to achieve me goal.

Thank God for His Strength and Grace!

Time to Celebrate!

Planning a birthday party in a span of 1 month is not a east feat.

You wonder if any one will attend the party?

You have to source for location,

hope for sponsorship ,plan your decoration,

cracks your brains to ensure your party will not be a boring one .

Blah blah Blah Blah.........

But I gotta say .Its all worth it.

After one Turning 21 marks the day you officially became an Adult

not a kid,teen any more.

Though I do wish I can stay as one....
