These are the rare beauties of the night.
It will brighten one 's mood if they manage to catch the glimpse of it in the Jungle.
I am glad the 3 days outfield ended in a wink.
Endless mosquito bites,
Combat ration,
Running like a mad dog,
Sleeping on Muddy field
and surviving days without shitting and bathing can be quite unbearable .
I really hope I can accustom to this Jungle Lifestyle as I know there is plenty more of outfield for the Recce Team.

I shall continue my previous post.
There is nothing interesting to say about day 2 ,
Just get stung alot by the dammn mosquito despite using mosquito repellent shower gel ,repellent and coil .

On the last day of the mission,Our dipole got struck on a 1 storey high tree.
We tired every thing to get it down,
Climbing the tree,pulling the string,jointing the branches and use it as a tool to pull it down.
Nothing works!

If we don't get the dipole down ,we will need to answer for the loss of the equipment.
Desperate times ,Desperate Measures

I decided to get external help from the construction site.
A kind bangala man volunteered to climb the 1 storey high tree using the rusty metal joints .
We were awe by his readiness to climb the tree to help 3 unknown strangers.
From that instant ,I promised to not to be a racist anymore.
In desperate times,you will need a helping hand to pull you through.
Sometimes it happens to be someone you least expected to .

Blogging live from the jungle,coz I am to bored,can't wait for the mission to be over and go back camp to enjoy a good bath.


These 3 days hve been crazy, I sleep talk on my first day as i have an nightmare of a ghost chasing me ,perhaps this is becoz i was stationed too near the graveyards.I was literally screaming in my dream.My sergeant ask what happened,he thought i was possessed.To be continued....

Why did God create Mosquito ?

They are irritating buzzing pest that sucks human blood.

I should invent a new chemical substance that will drive these pests to extinction.

Muhahaahahaha.

I went outfield on Wednesday.

The non-stop showers dampens our field bags,sock,boots, uniform and our mood.

HATE OUTFIELD!!!!!!!!

We were back in camp on thursday ,3am and was surprised that a big projector showing the live telecast of World cup semi finals is waiting for us.

Germany VS Spain.

Haven't been catching up on the recent world cup as I don't have the energy to stay up soo late to watch the match.

I was rooting for Germany as they slay football giant such as Argentina and England .

but I can't believe they played like dwarfs against Spain.

So I was quite disappointed they lost again and could not qualify for the Finals.

So Now I support the Holland/Netherlands team..Hopefully They will win the world cup!!

but I just found out that Paul the Octopus predicts Spain will be crowned the champion.

I hope it is wrong this time.

I am currently hooked to GLEE!!!!

The comedy musical is a fresh touch from all the sci fi,vampire ,dark secret plot.

Its better than GG,Heroes and VD.

Can't wait to finish the whole of season 1.

Make the Most out of it

I feel so NUA this week.

Didn't engage in any physical training,

Refused to go gym with my platoon mates or play sports with them.

Coz I just want to let my body rest and for my thumb to recover.

Maybe this is just an excuse for me to laze around .

Whatever it is,I promise myself to go back to training from next week onwards.

I finally met up with the girls on Friday.

Had a great time catching up with them.

Kagek's "si-pa ","If I cant rem "joke cracks us up .

Sam 's friend camera and secrets sharing kept us laughing and entertained.

I even managed to stay beyond the last train timing to wait for the red face Kok wee to join us.

I hope that the graduation trip next year will materialize.

At least there is something to look forward to .

Like what I mentioned in my previous posts,Its really very hard to make plans nowadays.

Juggling between NS,granny and my family doesn't leave me with alot of time for my friends,church and dance class.

Maintaining a balance is what I want to achieve and its not easy.

I am trying to make the most out of every weekend.

I am starting to like the weekly NDP rehearsals,

Not because of the shit work but because of the Monday off days.

This means we will book out on Friday and book in on Monday.

It shorten the whole week and makes it more bearable for me.

Its confirmed,I will be going to Taiwan from 10-30 September as part of my RECCE course.

I think 20 days away from Singapore is too long.

Not exactly looking forward to it.

Still,I will keep my hopes high and believe it will be an OUTSTANDING trip.
