Bread and Tea

Ever since I was diagnosed with gastritis ,I avoided a while range of delicious food and drinks.
I cannot enjoy cold carbonated drink on a hot day and the finger licking chicken like I used to.
Sometimes even my favourite Soya Milk will cause trouble to my stomach.
I admit I am not a obedient patient who will heed the doctor advice ,there are times when my mouth becomes itchy and I will start to indulge in food that I should avoid.
Lately,I have been eating a lot of white bread and Teh-O is my regular beverage .(sounds like a old man diet)
I searched the web and found out the benefits of Bread and Tea.

-Bread contains high levels of vitamins, calcium, protein and iron

-Bread made of whole wheat has fiber which is good for digestion and health.

-One slice of white bread has about 75 calories or can have even less.

-Bread made of whole wheat has lower calories; one slice has only 60 calories.

-One slice of white bread promote sleep and prevent insomnia

-Bread prevent constipation

-Tea refreshes and revives the body and mind
- aromatically touches the sensory nerves to promote relaxation
- good oral health
- overall hydration that helps keep your skin healthy
-promotes good heart health and supports the immune system by aiding the prevention of infection.
-Tea is considered a "natural performance enhancer" because of the flavonoid antioxidants (compounds reversing cell damage) present in tea.
-Flavonoids, besides having antioxidant properties, contain anti-inflammatory and anti-viral compounds as well and are known to help connective tissues and blood vessels continue functioning well.
- one cup of hot tea offers five times the antioxidants of a cup of orange juice and 17 times that of a serving of broccoli
- Whether served hot or cold, the benefits remain.
